One of the greatest blessings in our lives as a family has been bringing people into our home.  We are often deceived into thinking that it's too much work, that our homes need to be big and beautiful and impressive. When really, all you need is an open heart that truly welcomes others in.
So much goodness, so many precious conversations, and sweet new friendships have happened at our table over a meal or in our living room over a cup of coffee. I wouldn't trade those times over the years for anything.
